The local catalog provides access to materials and resources held by the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  when looking for a particular item, you should first check the local catalog to see if the item is available.

I-Share provides access to materials in 70+ libraries throughout the state of Illinois.

If material at this campus is not available, use I-Share.  I-Share is free and requests can be placed online.

Electronic resources, such as e-books and e-journals, are not available via I-share.

To access the I-share Catalog:

  1. Access the Library Gateway: http://www.library.illinois.edu/
  2. Select Library Catalog (under Quick Links).
  3. Select I-Share Catalog.
  4. Use the Library Resource Finder screen below to conduct your search.

If materials are unavailable at U of I or via I-Share, use interlibrary loan.  Interlibrary Loan is free and requests can be made online.  To place a request, login to Interlibrary loan and document delivery.
